Originally from Brazil, Jayme began his career in healthcare as a psychologist, working for several years in the field before moving to Canada. His experience in psychology helped develop strong listening and communication skills and an appreciation for individualized care. His journey into massage therapy began in Montreal, where he completed a certification in Swedish Massage. Wanting to further develop his skills and pursue massage therapy as a healthcare profession, Jayme later completed the Massage Therapy program at Eastern College in Moncton, N.B. Jayme focuses on therapeutic massage, tailoring each treatment to the individual needs of his clients. He particularly enjoys working with muscular tension and discomfort, mobility restrictions, and helping clients improve their overall physical function. He also believes that client education and appropriate home care can play an important role in supporting progress between treatments. Jayme is a member in good standing of the Massage Therapists’ Association of Nova Scotia (MTANS) and is fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. Outside the clinic, Jayme enjoys music, staying active, spending time outdoors, and spending time with his family and dogs.
